Thousand Layers Smoked Chicken (Lapis Legit)

Ingredients A:

  • 750 gr Egg Yolk (800gr)                              
  • 2 pc Egg White (800gr)
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • 275 gr Powdered Sugar

Ingredients B:

  • 80 gr Low Protein Flour / Cake Flour
  • 50 gr Full Cream Milk Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder

Ingredients C:

  • 250 gr Palmboom® Cake Margarine
  • 200 gr Filma® Prestige Margarine
  • Condensed Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
  • 50 gr Sweetened

Ingredients D:

  • 1 can Chicken Luncheon Meat or Smoked Chicken

Ingredients E:

  • 12 pc Cheese Slice

Ingredients F:

  • 1 tsp Red Food Colour

Directions:

  1. Beat all of the ingredients C until soft and fluffy.
  2. Beat all of the ingredients A until soft and fluffy, remove and add ingredients C and B while being stirred. Continue to stir until completely combined.
  3. Divide the batter into two parts:1   part base batter, divide into 4 parts @ 210 gr, 1    part with added red food colour, then divide into 4 parts @ 210 gr
  4. Prepare a 22 x 22 cm with 10 cm height pan, then bake with similar technique to baking Thousand Layers Cake with arrangement: 2 layers red batter, sprinkle sliced cheese on the first layer.
  5. Third and fourth layer are base batter. On third layer, give pieces of chicken luncheon meat or smoked chicken diagonally, then continue with red and white batter. Continue to do so until the batters are finished.
  6. To bake the Thousand Layers Cake, bake with bottom heat for + 7 minutes, then turn off the bottom heat and continue with top heat until the batters run out.
  7. On the last layer, which is ¾ done, turn off the top heat and continue with bottom heat for + 10 menit so that all layers are completely baked.
